Pilot, Cosmonaut and awarded two times as Hero of the former Soviet Union. He has been awarded three times with “Lenin” Order. He was also awarded with “Red Star” Order. He has been awarded as Hero of the Republic of Czechoslovakia (1978) and Hero of the Republic of Cuba (1980).
