Winston A. Mellowes [1]

Professor of Chemical Engineering in the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad since 1982. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering since 1982. He teaches sugar and food technology, and biochemistry. He has collaborated with cuban researchers on sugar technology and has taken part in several scientific conferences celebrated in Cuba. He has been one of the persons who has made a great effort in order to link cuban researchers to the Caribbean Academy of Sciences. He is Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba since 2002.
