Description

This Prize is awarded since 2002. Given the increasing links of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS) and the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, both institutions have established this award in order to reward Cuban young researchers that have produced an exceptional work. It is awarded yearly regarding subjects such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Two prizes are awarded each year, consisting in a Recognition Certificate and 1 000 dollars for each of them.
